It's All About The Texture

SWMBO and I went to the (very wet) Farmer's Market and the small craft sale in Balerno this morning.
All we bought were 3 painted rocks (in the Emergency Blip Bank).
Nipped over to see her sister - but she wasn't in.

No outdoor pictures today due to the weather (and forgetting to pick up a camera..... how did that happen?) so it was some oyster shells and a bit of garlic bulb (in the extra box).

Apart from that all I have done is try to cut some thin slices of wood with a blunt saw (my bandsaw isn't big enough). 
I need to buy some new saws, my current ones are all blunt and the fine ones are missing teeth.
But I think I managed - I just have to plane and sand them flat now.
