The sun shone!

The wind has been howling all night ...... it was still howling this morning ...... but we had sunshine & it has been really warm & humid ..... more like July than October!

I did have a different blip planned for today! I'll save the idea for another time!

The wind had eased a little by lunchtime  ...... I noticed this Buff-tailed Bumblebee on the buddleia ...... I grabbed the camera & hoped the wind would take a breather for a moment ...... I got lucky as the bee landed on a fairly sheltered flower ..... I loved the way the sun made the wings sparkle ...... hope you like it too :-)
