Pussy Cat, Pussy Cat
I'm not one for blipping multiple images, I believe in the one shot a day thing but I've done a bit off faffing about so I can show a client how images of her two cats can look on a print. She asked for two of each cat but I've expanded it to five to include them together. I had to do merged shots as the two cats don't willingly go close to each other, well not without treats!
She will choose which out of the many shots I'll be giving her, which she wants me to use but I thought I'd let you, and her,see what I've been trialling.
I had imagined it might be the first time ever I'd done a blip lying on a bedroom floor, (but it isn't) trying to photograph cats which refused to come out from under a bed (which would have been a first!). However, no such problem with these girls, Avril (top) and Libby (bottom). They were very happy to stay in the room with me while I photographed them.
I first met Avril and Libby, with their owner when they stayed a few weeks at the holiday lodge two years ago, waiting to move house. Their owner and I have kept in touch since and she invited me today to photograph them.
So, an afternoon spent chatting, drinking tea, stroking and photographing beautiful British blue and white tortoiseshell cats. How good can it get?
