Flood alert

Noticed the council workers putting up the flood barrier in the village this afternoon. They join sections together to construct a heavy duty plastic 'wall'. The back of the truck is full of the more traditional sandbags.
What a nightmare for those living along the Front Road. A grim start for their weekend.
