Second Day in Madrid

Early rising and this lovely shot from the 14th floor terrace as the sun came up, then up and about.

We spent a lot of the day at the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza - https://www.museothyssen.org/en - which houses a wonderful collection.  Needed a break for lunch and a glass of wine halfway through!

Across to the Parque del Retiro where I was tempted to pose behind one of the costumes, but wasn't really sure.

On the way to the Plaza Mayor for supper - introduced to us by Barrioboy years ago - and caught this sunset at the Palacio Real.
