Freshly cut

I can't resist the smell of newly cut wood so I had to go and have a nosy when I spotted this yesterday. I suspect it had fallen in the wind the night before as someone had cut it up in the middle of their drive, not the obvious place to do it.

Today we will be getting very muddy as Little One has her birthday party at a place that runs forest school activities. In the rain..
*goes and pulls out waterproof trousers*

Chilli and jacket spuds are all set to cook whilst we're out for a bit of a catering when we come back :)
