Mt Richardson
I decided to change my blip image to this.
I enjoyed Mt Richardson, a typical Canterbury foothill on the northern edge of the plains. As is also typical of where I live, it's an area riddled with fault lines.
A couple of hours or so of steady climbing, a long up/down/flat ridge before descending. The started claggy and gloomy, and by early afternoon was hot and sunny.
This is post lunch somewhere along the ridge before we dropped down to return to where the cars were parked. Worthy of a look large
This will be one of my last acts of the day. The next one will be a dose of yesterday's secret weapon. It did enough for me to opt for a day in the hills but my scratchy throat continues.
It's good to be back in the hills :-)
