Messenger night

Strong winds this morning and heavy rain this afternoon so an EB of some of our recording equipment from tonight's Messenger. Not particularly hi-tec but better than the cassette recorders we used to use.
The East Lothian Messenger is a talking newspaper. We have 5 recording teams so are only needed every five weeks. The mixer is connected to a laptop and once the recording is complete it is downloaded to a USB stick. We have another machine that makes multiple copies from the master. Other teams go in on a Saturday morning to make the copies and fill the pouches which are then sent out by post.
