The Letter

A short time ago this letter finally arrived at our house in Leitrim. It had traveled the world with a friend of Rita's who continuously moved flat/house until they eventually settled back in Australia. This letter has had a lot of journeys.

The letter had been sent to Rita by her mother back in 1989 while Rita was on a three month stay in Australia. As Rita also traveled the world, the letter traveled in a different direction with her friend. Rita's Mother was suffering from MS and a good friend used to transcribe for her, sadly her Mother passed away in the early 90's.

Nearly thirty years later, the letter finally made its way home to Rita in Ireland.
