Smokey 1125 hr (Wednesday 10th October 2018)
We were very lucky with the weather for Decorating Wednesday and set to work on the fence panels in the patio area. There was a lot of scraping off Boston ivy suckers from three fence panels first, and I didn't expect to get on to much painting, but luckily Refna was able to put in four hours and so we ended up getting two panels completed. The panels soaked up the paint and it dried out very fast in the sun.
Smokey came out to sunbathe in one of the garden beds and I crept up to get a shot, except that the camera card was still in my study, and when I went in to fetch it, Smokey followed me inside. He returned later and settled in a similar spot but facing the wrong way and with the light by now coming from overhead. I got a batch of shots, however, and chose this one because the angle of view is dissimilar to previous blips.
