Lovely

The highlight of my day was having dinner with my younger niece Sarah.  I hadn't seen her in a while, and it was good to get together.  Things are going well in her life now, and I think that contributed to how beautiful she looked.  The awful restaurant lighting spoiled the overall look.

She and her fiance just returned from a trip to the Amalfi Coast in Italy, which they loved.  Now she is back at work with a new manager who seems to understand who she is and what she can contribute - unlike the previous manager, who was nice but didn't know what to do with Sarah.  So work is looking up, she and Nick have moved into a really nice apartment not far from her work, and she can bring Charley, her dog, go the office with her.  She has spent such a lot of her life being unhappy that it is a joy to see her so calm and confident.
