Artist at work

A morning of cleaning house then an afternoon walk to Burgoyne Bay.  We came across this young artist from Quebec painting in one of the old sheds. His painting was beautiful.  He said that he painted mostly landscapes. I asked if I could take a photo, and he agreed.  We had a short conversation with him.  I noticed reflections in the small mirror that he had in his case and commented on them.  He said that he uses the mirror to look at his paintings to see things that he might overlook or to see things differently.  Interesting!  He's recently moved to the island so we might run into him again.
