Pholiota sp.

I photographed these Pholiota fungi a couple of weeks ago when the caps were tightly closed. They've expanded very rapidly and are now rather impressive. I'm still not convinced that I know what they are though! Original here:  https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2491341518749565000
