Thanksgiven dinner
Here in southern Tunisia spinach is a rare and wondrous thing; so when my friend Mary texted me excitedly informing me she had procured some I clapped my hands and squealed with delight. Even more joyous was this delicious spinach and ricotta pie she made with said spinach. Not stopping at a mere spinach and ricotta pie- as if that wasn't mouth watering enough- she made a pumpkin & custard tart for dessert. Oh the gastronomical wonder!! A perfect day-after-thanksgiving meal! And we're not even American :p
