Poinsettia

This is the beautiful poinsettia that my brother and sister-in-law brought me yesterday for a hostess gift. I LOVE this color. There are so many colors now besides the solid red.

After our really nice Thanksgiving Day weather, today the rains return. So, indoor blip.

I broke my eyeglass frames and I entertained the idea of going to the mall where I bought them to have them fixed today. Then I thought...hmmmm, Black Friday shoppers in full force. I can wait as I have my old glasses as a back up. We do very little Christmas shopping now, so I don't need to get out in that madness to buy anything.

We had a nice visit last evening with our little group and enjoyed ham, potatoes, sweet potatoes, caesar salad, fruit salad (made with canned 'tropical' fruit), rolls, and dessert, of course. Pumpkin and apple pie and then we had cookies and my SIL's good lemon bars. It's so nice to know that there are good leftovers in the fridge.
