Ixora Coccinea

It was marvellous to start our holiday with a visit to the Botanic Garden in Puerto de La Cruz. It's winter there, too, but with so much colour and pleasant weather, it was like summer.

I noticed the bees are still busy on this island. Does the longer growing season mean the bees product more honey, I wonder?
