Two Sides To Every Story ...

Today marks the one-week anniversary of the strike affecting employees of the Ritz-Carlton and six other Marriott-owned hotels in Boston.  They are protesting for a better contract, and so far no positive progress appears to have been made.  Today, we received these two letters -- one expressing  the Marriott's point of view, and the other stating the union's. 

The constant noise and disruption of the picket line has started to cause some tempers to fray, and quite a few people who were initially sympathetic to the strikers' cause are now feeling angry and defensive.  I remain hopeful that a satisfactory resolution will be reached soon that both sides can agree on, and that we will all be able to resume normal, cordial relations once more.
