Poor Percy pusskin

I gave poor Percy a horrible fright this evening. Having put my butternut squash in the oven to bake I went upstairs for a bath leaving Percy downstairs. Unfortunately the oven was on the wrong setting, and when I came back down about an hour later the house was full of smoke!! Poor Percy was really scared (obviously thinking the house was on fire)?and ran off directly I opened the door! He came back in luckily a bit later and I think I have finally managed to get rid of the smoke, but the horrible acrid smell is still there. I will of course check the oven much more carefully in future !
In the meantime it’s lots of cuddles for PP
