The Hermitage

Such a lovely day today - eventually!  The mist was slow to burn away, but we headed for Aberfeldy to enjoy the colourful trees up the A9 and stopped off at The Hermitage, near Dunkeld on the way.

Not as busy as we expected, so I was able to take several shots of the falls from Ossian's Hall and TJ was delighted to see the salmon were leaping.  So much so, that he had a competition with a visiting five-year old to see who could spot them first:-)  Guess who won!!

Then it was on to Aberfeldy to visit Spirit of Wood, but alas they didn't have what I was looking for.  I was consoled with a coffee and cake at the Watermill:-)  The extra is the view over Aberfeldy as we took the high road home again.

This may be the last warm and sunny day we have this year, so I was glad not to have wasted it.
