Glorious day...
hot, sunny and calm. However, in the strath there was damage caused by the flash flooding they suffered yesterday. At the bridge, all the scaffolding had been washed away, at the dam boats were smashed against rocks and at the landing all the boats were adrift. A huge cloudburst in Wester Ross had caused a river bore taking trees and debris with it.
It was very hot walking and I sat up the glen listening to the 'mountain music', stags roaring in the rut! Fantastic to hear and see.
