At the Oceania exhibition yesterday l was not overimpressed. However, this pillarbox red Steinway piano painted and carved by the Maori artist Michael Parekowhai was, if not totally traditional, an arresting sight. On loan for the RA exhibition it has been bought by the brilliant Te Papa museum in Wellington, New Zealand.
