Pidge

Meet Pidge, who is recovering from a virus. Today he was enjoying the sunshine and listening to me chatting to him. Well he didn't have any choice about the latter. I have become very fond of pigeons since working at the rescue centre, something I never thought would happen!

Meanwhile, Kathy hand-reared a mystery chick - she knows all there is to know about wild birds, she can spot the species of a nestling the size of a pound coin but the didn't recognise this one. See extra for the exotic bird it has grown into.....

Sadly the snipe didn't make it - he was recovering well then died suddenly yesterday, something that commonly happens with rescued birds.
