Art @ The Art Gallery

We dropped Beetle off at Ma and Pas early and drove up to Brisbane to the Art Gallery.
There was a part of me that was in 7th heaven..another that was inspired to the max and another I felt like I was visiting old friends. I had met several of the artists on the walls ..years ago in my Sydney days...Jaiya and I took a little trip down memory lane.

I wasn’t the only one that felt inspired....how cute was the boy walking around the gallery with his fluffy white tiger Snowflake his art pad and pencil. He had the gallery guardians under his spell....and a lovely woman offered him big sketching paper pencil and rubbers with a board he could draw on.
He Loved the Netsukes and had to draw some of them before we moved on to the Modern art gallery and then the Museum.
Needless to say we are absolutely stuffed especially after the most hideous and frightening drive home through city traffic.....over the top lightening and thunder...fires and then rain....so glad to be home..sage n sound.

I am very excited to dive into the new book I bought today but I’m feeling pretty tired and think I need to turn in.........it can wait till the weekend...another busy day tomorrow......up to see Ma and Pa......time is drawing nigh for my bast off to NZ...to see Rainie and Doug......I’m very excited.......but not that organised ...yet.
