Ceiling detail

A busy day of some sports, some writing and reading, and an academic event in the afternoon, which took some of my colleagues to a place in the university they had never been before - the Balcony Room in Old Moray House. I'd been there on multiple occasions before, so unlike some I didn't struggle to find my way. It's always inspriring to look up at the detail on the ceiling.

Later on there were convivial drinks and dinner with colleagues and a visitor from Germany. It was good to see AW, with whom we'd last had dinner in Brisbane.
