Still calm

Another lovely calm day with hardly a breath of wind, but very wet, constant drizzle all day long.  The sight of wet hens is very depressing!  They didn't seem too bothered, but looked very bedraggled!  I gave them some left over spaghetti to cheer them up and they fell upon it - so easily pleased. They are also loving the rocket that is running riot in the veg garden.  A mixed diet, but we are getting very tasty eggs!

Helping H in the afternoon, and seven very wet ponies to see to.  They were all keen to come in to their stables and get fed.  Not a lot of goodness left in the grass, although everywhere still looks nice and green.  Peridot is still at her mooring, looking lovely and serene as I came home.  There are usually seals on the shore behind her, but I couldn't make any out today.
