Sunset

A short break from work afforded a moment or two with the camera. The last rays of the sun were striking the tower of Norwich City Hall. I took a picture showing the clock at 3.27pm then turned around and saw ... Norwich Castle, likewise lit up by the dying embers. A quick dash to a better vantage point and as I took my half dozen photos the sunlight faded away. Dusk.

How the Norman castle must have dominated the Saxon town. It stands atop a man-made mound, on the highest point in the city.
