Harvest Supper

After a successful craft evening at the WI last night, it was the village Harvest Supper tonight.
I made a rather alcoholic tiramisu and a strawberry pavlova - and baked 35 potatoes in the oven at home.
94 people sat down to a splendid meal of cold beef, ham and numerous salads, followed by a range of puddings, cheese and fruit - coffee and mints!
This was the flower arrangement on our table - a talented farmer’s wife grows dahlias with a great deal of success.
A convivial evening of good food and company!
