Fun in the garden

We paid our usual visit to my friend this afternoon. Her lovely Border Collie 'Mr Ru' loved Pixie the first time they met and they play together like puppies despite the difference in age and size. We were not sure how Ru would react to Sprite as he is not at all keen on other male dogs close to him so we have introduced them very gradually over the past 6 weeks, first keeping Sprite in a travel crate then on a lead while Pixie was playing normally. Today we felt confident enough to let all three dogs into the small side garden off lead and with toys. As you can see Ru was totally calm, looking on as the youngsters played and allowing them to romp with him (see extra). So lovely to watch them - and a lovely warm autumn day too!
