Mirror image again!

Love the colour of the anthuriums on this floral display in the hotel in Inverness my Californian visitor was staying
Our day started blustery heading for Skye I’d been warned ferries may be cancelled ! Route was over the bridge to Skye & sail back to mainland , I have not seen torrents of water tumbling down the mountains as we saw on our journey for a very long time! Rain of biblical proportions ! Lots of flooding !
Visited Eilean Donan Castle then over the bridge to Skye , we stopped at the new distillery at Toravaig just a tasting for my visitor ! Arrived at Armadale & the ferry was sailing ! Yay!!! Wind had calmed down however the rain still poured down! The drive from Mallaig to Fort William was hairy scary!
Read on the news after we arrived about the severe flooding and landslides in the west!!! Sun tomorrow & back to storms at the end of the week!
Oh our weather does have a split personality ! :)
