Flu vaccine

L had her first flu vaccination today at the GP’s with the nurse. She took it all in her stride... even giggled a little bit as the nurse squirted the syringe up her nostrils. Little star.

I had left school early to take L for her appointment. As I was home early I arranged to briefly see one of our NCT pals... mummy has just lost their second baby... heartbreaking. Was good to see her as I’ve been incredibly worried. I was pleased to hear that a bereavement midwife is going to visit her at home tomorrow to work out what help she can be offered.

First day of N’s school inspection is done and he hasn’t seen the inspectors yet, so that’s good. Two days to go.
