I went up to the allotment early-ish as the forecast was for rain later on - but got rained on anyway. Pah! So all I achieved was feeding the ravening hordes and gathering in the pumpkin; it's not quite as big as the previous one we grew on the compost heap, but it'll still make a good house-warming present for S and M.
