Down by the river…

A stunning day, not a cloud in the sky, and such lovely warm sunshine (you can’t complain about 18 degrees in October!). So as not to waste the weather, I went for a walk along the River Chew this afternoon with a friend. Our plan was to do a 3 mile circular walk, crossing the river downstream and then walk back along the other side. However half way round, blocking the stile that would’ve taken us to the bridge and the opposite bank, we encountered a herd of cows!
