Water drops. Not

This is the bit of plastic that was supposed to operate the  pump switch on my shower. In order to work it relied on a weakened point bending, unfortunately the weakened bit was stronger than the bit which held everything in place.
I hope this smear of epoxy will be more than a temporary repair
