Lone Gull!

Went down to the Hide in the Basin to see if I could capture some Geese.  There was a colony on a sandbank about a mile out which they were sharing with some seals, but I couldn't get a good shot.  Next stop the Links Pond only to discover it was almost dried out and even the recent rain hadn't filled it up yet.  Result:  no birds except this lone Gull sitting in the grass. Called in at Health Centre to get my Flu Jab date  -  19th October.  Poured with rain all the way home!
