I'm turning into my grandad

I had to get up early today as I had to get the train to Blackburn station to carry out a site visit on one of my projects. I had to change trains at Preston and I was so tempted to sack Blackburn and get the train to Blackpool and spend a weekend there.

I ended up going to Blackburn to carry out a site visit and a safety tour which ended up being fine. The bonus was that it didn't rain.

When I was at Preston station I realised that I am definatly getting old. I looked at the station (pic) and thought to myself that they don't build stations or buildings like this anymore, splendid and grandeur. I cant believe I actually thought that. I'm turning into my grandad and I'm only 36.
