Random beauty

The rain really got its act together just as we arrived home this afternoon, making the tedious business of unloading the car even less attractive. I was feeling fed up as it was - childishly regretting the end of a lovely time with family, the end of a lovely stay in the Edinburgh flat - and worse: I had no photos and little inclination to take one.

But as I fought my way up and down the back garden with cases, boxes and bags I saw this lovely juxtaposition of red leaves and faded blue hydrangea. I sheltered my phone with my hood and this is the result. I think it’s rather lovely.

I’ll get back to visiting other blip journals very soon - but I’m too tired tonight. Night all ...
