In England .....

Despite our late arrival last night at the farm, we were up at around 9 am.
The weather was dreadful in the morning . Wet, dark and cold. 
We had some breakfast and headed to Roachside to see Neil's mum.
She is getting better, but there is another surgery planned this month to have a closer look at the bladder! We all hope that there is nothing serious, and she will be much better soon.
We spent a few hours there, then offered to cook dinner for them.
Mom is not fit enough to cook and does not fancy to go out too.
We drove to Leek, grabbed a quick coffee then did the shipping for dinner and drove back to Roachside.
Neil and I worked well together and prepare one of our own dinner favourites for them. And they liked it a lot. Mum was eating with great appetite, which was bice to see, as she has lost 2 stone due to feeling unwell.
We stayed all evening, had too much food and too much wine.
Then drove home to the farm, where we just met Carol, coming home from the dinner dance of the Young Farmers.
We had another drink then fell to bed.
