Birmingham

A change of scenery. Last night Luke inspired me to drink plenty of wine in his easyhotel. So good to catch up with him again.

Then off to visit a friend. As I started to type her address into Google, it predicted the final address and threw some options at me. I saw one I recognised, clicked on it and drove away. I arrived at the house. Her horse was in the field. I thought it strange I couldn't hear her dogs barking. And initially couldn't see where she'd described she'd left the key, despite circling the house several times and poking around and about the stable block. Not to worry, I went to meet her horse. A lovely inquisitive fellow who followed me around like a lamb. I jogged, he jogged beside me. We frollicked and played for a good ten mins, administering scratches occasionally. Then I sent Caron a message, for clarification on where the house key was. I attached a photo of her horse. Except it wasn't her horse apparently. Or her house.

I opened Google and replotted, using her correct address this time. Google told me my journey would take 7 hours. I was so confused. Then realised it was set for walking, not driving. Feeling fully mental and giggling manically at myself, I arrived half an hour later.

I blame Luke and his red wine.

I'm now at my Mum's. An amazingly pleasant and traffic free journey bang on rush hour. Weird.

Gorgeous has been keeping himself entertained in the smallest room in the house today. Something plumbery.

Extra of the mystery horse who is probably still scratching it's head wondering who the strange person was earlier.
