Demonstrations are a regular occurrence in Jerez, and like verywhere in a Europe dominated by neo- liberalism and attacks on the poor, there’s plenty to protest about. These pensioners are campaigning to defend the public provision of pensions and for a decent level of financial support. When we get a Labour Government in the U.K., let’s hope we can forge radical alliances across Europe to fight back against the Far Right and their allies.
