Autumn Leaf
I heard on Gardeners' Question Time yesterday that meteorologists are forecasting a very colourful Autumn as a result of the cold Spring and hot summer, so here's one leaf to start.
It comes from the sycamore tree at the end of the drive on the patch of green belonging to our neighbour.
Fracture clinic for Len this morning to check his shoulder. He's making good progress but is not ready for discharge. Basil and I went to the nearby park while he was waiting in clinic.
Then to East Leake to hand over the SD cards with the photos of Saturday's wedding, followed by a walk (for us) and run (for Basil) in Meadow Park finishing up with coffee and cake at Bryers where they even had gluten free Victoria Sandwich.
Mike called later on to have a look at the leaking fitting in the small bathroom. He's more or less shut down the leak but needs to come back to fit small washers.
And I've finished my article for RPS Travel Log now sent with photos to editor. Heart in mouth, will the photos be acceptable?
Love the texture in Autumn leaves.
