Lying low!

A much better day ...... still rather chilly ..... but at least we had sunshine!

We headed out this afternoon ...... first we went to Trespass (other stores are available) ....... Hubby had decided he wanted to get some similar tops to the ones I've got ....... he bought himself three ........ I managed to limit myself to only one this time!

We then drove to Frithbank ...... parked at the roadside ....... crossed a rickety wooden bridge & followed the public footpath along my the river

We passed this bull sunning himself & taking it easy in the sunshine ..... we also saw Long-tailed Tits flitting around the treetops ..... a flotilla of ducks on the river & a Kestrel ...... it was a lovely walk :-)

We walked as far as the Lock Keepers cottage ....... in the garden there we saw some lovely models. There was a pottery .... a church (extras) ....... also a village street of houses  .... there were a few more buildings dotted through the garden ..... it looked as if it was the layout for a model railway. The cottage was sold .... so we assumed the rail track had been taken up ready for the move.
