First For A While

Camping weekends that is.
Not camping as in backpack, tent and hiking boots but our VW T4 with a drive away awning, cooker and chairs etc.
For the time being we sleep inside the van on a padded out floor but the plan is that at some point in the near future install a ‘rock ‘n’ roll’ bed.
We met up with Mark, Paul and Debs at the Dartmeet Adventure Park and were soon set up and relaxing with a beer. Over the next few hours the remainder of our group arrived and after a snack we headed for the bar.
We had a belated 50th birthday party for Mark that went on until just after midnight with even Gussie enjoying herself.
