The Favourite Seats

All five devices logged on at 9am; servers unavailable, demand extremely heavy... we knew we’d no chance really and then, OMG as young people say, we got them! We bloody well got them!! There was some whooping and shrieking and a hollering, I’ll tell you.
Along to Leith for brunch at the Rose Leaf to meet up with S and the daughter who are enduring a dry October. Really good chats about that as well as so much more - and what great scran they do - their eggs benedict with black pudding was just what the doctor ordered.
It being a filthy day out, later on we headed off to a matinee - A Star is Born up at the Cameo. I’ve got to say half an hour in, I was totally spellbound. The two leads are just terrific - and Ms Gaga plays it just right. I’m not sure it maintains that level - and it’s a fairly straightforward tale, but it was great entertainment.
And home - yes!!!! We got tickets!!!
