Dobbies Garden Centre Lasswade

After what I said about not being allowed to photograph at the Livingston branch the last place you would expect us to be was another branch.  However "having crossed them off my Christmas card list" (so to speak) Katkatkat wanted something from the garden centre.  Not having a car it can be difficult for her so off we went.

There was good news!   Clickychick stopped an assistant to ask about something.  The assistant referred to a nearby lady not in uniform.  During the conversation it came out she was the area manager.  CC mentioned our disappointment at their photography ban.  "What photography ban?"  The result:  She will be having a word with Livingston as "we love people to take photos of our things".

Not having taken the camera in with me I settled for a few shots round the car park.  Yew holds a special place for me as we had a Yew in the garden when I was a kid and we had great fun in it.   One of only 3 native conifers all parts are poisonous, with the exception I believe of the red flesh round the seed.  However I am not going to test the theory.
