Forest Trail

With the storms having abated today (only temporarily apparently), we took the chance to take a walk in Stockhill Forest near Priddy on the Mendips this morning. Saw this reflection in one of the ponds among the trees and couldn't resist turning it upside down for the strange effect it has on the eye.

Warmed up with home-made pumpkin, tomato and ginger soup and a pint of Cheddar Ales' Potholer at The Hunter's Lodge, a proper old-fashioned real ale pub, to round off a perfect Friday morning. Have a good weekend, all.
