Wot More Waxwings!?

Yep, the waxwing excitement continued today, with quite a crowd of twitchers at the end of the street in the sunshine. I should start selling tea.

I worked at home today, popping out now and again to deliver and collect children, always with my camera bag slung over my shoulder. As well as being beautiful birds, they are the most convenient birds to photograph imaginable. Right at the end of the street, seemingly unafraid of people, and predictably flying in and out en-masse. Plenty of time for twitcher and camera chat, then a few seconds of snapping... and relax. Very civilised :)

So, that's 3 days in a row of waxwing blips and I may well do another tomorrow!
