So beautiful...

Today I ventured further North to Chiang Rai (you may know the area as The Golden Triangle). On the way I stopped in at, what is possibly the most beautiful man-made place I have ever seen, the White Temple (Wat Rong Khun). It is straight from a fairy tale, and is snow white covered in sugar crystals. It has been bedazzled with pieces of mirror and I would not be surprised if a dragon lived there....or at least a mythical, magical creature that protects things!

So, you're wondering, why has she posted this blip then?

Well, the temples' very white....and there were also a lot of white clouds....it wouldn't have so much replicated a black and white picture as a white and white picture.

This blip is from the temple, but is part of the grounds where by there are trees created with these leaves placed there by devout Buddhists. That in itself was really quite beautiful! I would recommend you google the temple...or better still, visit it!
