Reg and his film camera

Today I attended the Adelaide Camera Expo at the Central Market. Of the many photos I took of the Expo, I liked this one the best. It is a portrait of 87 year old Reg Skilton with his favourite 35mm film camera. He was selling his bits of old film equipment, having not moved to digital.

Born in London, he worked for a photo studio called Vince in his early days. At the age of 20 he took up weight training and has always stayed in great shape. He presently goes to the gym 3 times each week. He never competed, but we both knew many famous people in the sport from his early years in UK. I found him to be quite an inspiration.
