Winterizing
...and not a moment too soon! There is a hard freeze warning for tomorrow night with temperatures in the 20s! My blip shows our nephew, Ken, holding the compressor hose in the water intake and blowing air through the system while Pipersdad holds the outdoor shower hose that is blowing out the last of the water in the pipes. The whole process took about an hour and then we backed it into the spot on his property where we will store it for the winter. We still need to go back and get the cover put on to protect it from the elements. It's kind of a hard job and someone has to get it up onto the roof and work from there. Darrin will help us with that...hopefully next weekend.
I am grateful that the rain held off until we finished. It was cold and damp but at least we were dry. And we are both so grateful to our nephew and his wife for helping us with RV and storing it for us!
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM). A click on this link will take you to the Breast Cancer website. Another click on the "Click to Give" button will help fund mammograms for those who can't afford them. It takes about 2 minutes and it's free. It's an easy way to help the cause.
