Cub hike

Went for a walk with the cubs tonight, which I think was slightly over optimistic of us.

They had 1.5 hours to get from A to B; navigating themselves whilst we stayed at the back of the pack. Across fields full of cows (and cow shit), and horses.

Added to the fact they were split into 3 groups, supposedly to take 3 different routes which meant we left after the other groups had already gone (which left us with 1 hour 10 minutes to walk over 3 miles!)

Somehow we managed to get to B, before the other two groups who had left A before us.

Probably because we were busy shoving them along!

It was fun, but next time, start earlier and allow more time!

I then had to go play skittles, with apologies to the host team who may have ended up with some cow poo on their alley from my hiking boots!!
